Ledyard VFW offers a $1000 scholarship to a high school student in the Agricultural Science program or Technical School who is affiliated with the military through a parent, grandparent or sibling. Applications can be obtained from the guidance offices at Ledyard High School and Ella T. Grasso Technical School.

Applications for the 2024-2025 Voice of Democracy and Patriots Pen essay contests are now available. The Patriots Pen essay is open to students in grades 6 - 8. This year's theme asks students to discuss "My Voice in America's Democracy". A fillable entry form can be accessed at the link below:
